Sip & Swap is a speed-friending activity designed to spark conversations and help guests meet multiple new people in a relaxed, low-pressure format. Each guest gets a card with fun, open-ended prompts. In quick rounds, they pair up, share responses, and then swap cards and partners when the host calls time. It’s all about connection, curiosity, and keeping the energy high.

How Sip & Swap Works in Real Time
Let’s say Jamie and Chris have just paired up and each has a prompt card.
Step 1: Brief Hello
- 👋 Jamie: “Hey, I’m Jamie. First time at one of these?”
- 🤝 Chris: “Yeah! I’m Chris—nice to meet you.”
Step 2: Choose a Prompt
- 🃏 Jamie looks at their card: “Okay, one of mine says: What’s a weird food combo you love? Want to go first or should I?”
- 🍕 Chris: “Oh I’ve got a good one—peanut butter on pizza. Don't knock it 'til you try it!”
- 😄 Jamie: “Whoa. That’s bold. Mine’s popcorn with hot sauce—it sounds odd but totally works.”
Step 3: Continue with a Second Prompt
- 🧠 Jamie: “Alright, another one on my card says: What’s something on your bucket list?”
- ✈️ Chris: “Hiking Patagonia. I’ve been daydreaming that one for years.”
- Jamie: “That’s amazing. Mine’s to learn how to throw pottery without making a total mess.”
Step 4: Light Wrap-Up
- ⏰ (After ~5 minutes, you or the host rings a bell or calls “SWAP!”)
