I’ve always felt like tacos bring me one step closer to heaven. I think we may have the perfect pairing to make that statement come to life. Come join the brew crew at the Ministry of Brewing!!
What’s most incredible about this space is that they set up their whole operation by revitalizing the former St. Michael’s Church. The church itself was originally built in 1857 by a Baltimore architect, Louis Long. It took them two years just to preserve the church, and they launched in February 2020.
But wait, there’s more! Just up the street (legit 2 min walk) is a fantastic Mexican restaurant, Cocina Luchadoras. There will be another food truck on site (to be scheduled) so you will have an option is this cuisine isn’t your vibe. I’ll be managing a group order for us and picking up around 7:30pm. Get a peek at the menu.
Here’s some important details about the event:
Parking. You’ll be relying on street parking in the area. There are some nearby public garages by Johns Hopkins within walking distance if you prefer that comfort.
Non-alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, there are no options provided at this location and outside beverages with exception of clear water bottles are prohibited.
A few more details are available via their FAQ.

Hello all!
Thank you to those that came to one of our best showings yet at Ministry of Brewing!! And I hope your taco journey continues after our night together. There’s a wealth of spots in the area just waiting to be graced by your presence.
One of my favorite parts of the night was the natural expansion of our territory - very Risk-esque - transforming our little corner to a cozy section of the bar with a culinary spread. I was very excited to see some of our OG members among plenty of new faces, many of which have been to MoB for their first time (it’s a beautiful space)!
Special thanks to the bartender Jo for taking care of us and supporting the cheers above the crowd during our traditional toast. If you find yourself in the area again, unwind at Spirits Tavern, grab a slice at Johnny Rad’s, or get arsty at the Meander Art Bar.
